The Explore Advanced Manufacturing Camp introduces students to the industry by allowing them to manufacture a stainless steel lamp that includes hands-on experience in designing, precision machining, welding, and wiring an electrical circuit. Students will also learn basic entrepreneurial concepts and skills while connecting with experienced manufacturers. The camp features guest speakers from local industry leaders and tours of Springfield area manufacturing sites.
